Eastern Education Group

Eastern Education Group is based in Suffolk and from September 2024, we are a group of one FE college, two sixth form colleges, one primary school and a group of SEND schools. 

We have held a research conference at the end of June 2023 and June 2024 which encourages teaching staff across our group to share their research inquiries about their teaching practice and for 2024 we asked staff to focus on key areas such as flipped learning and formative assessment. 

In our FE college West Suffolk Sixth Form we acknowledge the 'dual professional' role of our staff as vocational experts as well as teachers who need to deliver pedagogy and in order to support our teachers in developing their authentic confidence about the impact of their teaching in the classroom, we have underpinned our professional development programme by encouraging staff to complete a research inquiry for the past two  years.
